Lindsey Danae Perez aka LindzenatorDraws is a two-spirit Tongva artist, activist, musician, and community organizer with a passion for storytelling, giving voice to gender-nonconforming experiences, cultural reclamation, and spiritual awakening in their collection of handmade, self published comic zines. As a recent graduate of the Comics Portfolio Program at the IPRC, they frequently participate in pop up markets/events/conventions/festivals all across the west coast and beyond, selling handmade art prints, zines, buttons, stickers, sketch portraits and more. When they’re not making comics, playing video games or doing karaoke, they work with the Sexual Minority Youth Resource Center to provide free resources, events, & gender-affirming gear to at-risk youth. Lindsey lives on unceded territories of the Multnomah, Klamath, and Chinook tribes in so-called ‘Portland, Oregon’ where they share a cozy studio apartment with their partner, Jack, and their 15 year old terrier, Fitzgerald.
