Maya Escobar is a cartoonist, illustrator and youth librarian from Massachusetts. She received her MFA from the Center for Cartoon Studies. Her current projects include her thesis comic Pond Ladies and a series for Boston Compass Newspaper about her diagnosis and treatment for colorectal cancer.
